Bruce Katz              Piano

Bruce Katz teaches piano and Hammond B-3 organ and is internationally recognized as a performer and an educator as well.  He taught at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston for 14 years (1996 – 2010), teaching private lessons, theory and ensembles.  Classically trained, he has a Master’s in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. Bruce has played extensively in the Blues, Rock and Jazz idioms, appearing on over 70 albums and performing and/or recording with Gregg Allman, the Allman Brothers, Delbert McClinton, John Hammond, Duke Robillard, Maria Muldaur, Ronnie Earl and many others.  Bruce has been nominated by the Blues Foundation three times for “Piano Player of the Year”.  He teaches all levels and ages in a variety of styles, specializing in blues and jazz improvisation.
