Educated at the Berklee College of Music, Bruce has both an extensive teaching and performing career.  Bruce studied privately with Bernard Purdie and has played with many artists including Lee Andrews, The Tymes, The Contours, Mary Wells, The Ronnetts, Bobby Farris, Joy Fisher, Howard Johnson, Jan Jordon Quartet, May Bennet and Dr. Art Davis.
